Randy K. Weatherspoon is a Scientist with Cognitive Performance Group. He comes to us having performed extensive Human Factors Engineering (HFE) work in areas emphasized in Human Systems Integration (HSI), Graphic User Interface (GUI) design, User Experience (UX) Enhancement, spatial orientation design, cognitive behavior assessments, and psychology-based projects. Prior to this, Randy spent over 13 consecutive years teaching in US Navy, government contracting, and graduate level academia formats. As a 10-year Navy veteran, his military topic areas of expertise include Electronic Warfare (EW), Information Warfare (IW), Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD), and Aegis Advanced Warfare Training (AWT) simulations.
His research findings have resulted in increased employee productivity and the creation of objective quality evidence (OQE) which are further used to inform upper echelon government decision makers. Randy holds a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Technology Management and Master of Science in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. He is currently in simultaneous pursuit of a Master of Philosophy and Doctorate in Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
