Angela Karrasch is a Senior Scientist at Cognitive Performance Group, where she leads research teams specializing in leader development, talent management, and adult learning. In her career prior to joining CPG, Angela spent more than two decades conducting military behavioral science and leading pioneering efforts to assess and enhance strategic thinking, systems thinking, and creative thinking skills of warfighters. Angela’s work includes oversight of multi-domain research programs and high-impact assessment while serving as Chief, Supervisory Psychologist at the U.S. Army Research Institute for Behavioral and Social Sciences. In that role, and at the Center for Army Leadership, she served in advisory roles to senior Department of Defense leaders on multiple initiatives in the leader development realm.
Angela also led a team of faculty at the University of Kansas in the advancement of interdisciplinary science related to learning and workforce development. She has been an invited speaker nationally and internationally, conducted cross cultural research, and is well published. Her body of work bridges scientific rigor and operational relevance, driving innovation in how military organizations evaluate and strengthen cognitive capacity. Angela earned her PhD in Social Psychology from Kansas State University in 1999.
