Andrew M. Naber is an industrial-organizational psychologist with over 15 years of research experience in support of various Department of Defense agencies. He specializes in individual and team skill acquisition, performance measurement, and human-machine teaming. Dr. Naber leads CPG’s team of Skilled Performance researchers who model complex cognitive performance, create measurement tools, and design operational and training tools to improve performance.
Dr. Naber has contributed to developing models and assessments of individual differences that support technological fluency and is recognized for his contribution to research methodologies that evaluate human-machine teaming. Prior to joining CPG, he served as a senior scientist in the Emerging Research Unit at the U.S. Army Research Institute for the Behavioral and Social Sciences and held leadership positions among the scientific staff at Aptima, Inc. Dr. Naber received his Ph.D. in industrial-organizational psychology from Texas A&M University.
