Allison K. Hancock, Ph.D. is a Senior Scientist for Cognitive Performance Group specializing in operational military research. She previously served as the Deputy Director of Research for the South Texas Research Organizational Network Guiding Studies on Trauma & Resilience (STRONG STAR) Consortium at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA) and a Senior Research Psychologist with the U.S. Army Research Institute (ARI). She has over ten years of experience in leading research projects and managing multiple contracts with distributed contract teams for the Department of the Army in the areas of human performance, rapid training development, difficult to train skills, program evaluation, and assessment.
Dr. Hancock has worked closely with several military organizations including the U.S. Army Special Operations Command and several operational units on FORSCOM installations conducting field observations, focus groups, and empirical data collections. Dr. Hancock has a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology with specialization in Sport and Exercise Psychology as well as Measurement and Statistics and a master’s degree in Applied Experimental Psychology.
