Brian A. Dahlberg, a Research Analyst at Cognitive Performance Group, has over 6 years of research experience in the field of cognitive science. Prior to joining Cognitive Performance Group, he served as an Associate Instructor at Indiana University for 4 years. His research expertise is in studying behavior via computational modeling approaches, including recurrent neural networks, evolutionary algorithms, simulation modeling, and agent-based modeling. His approach blends quantitative methods with a keen eye toward theory, considering behavior as an emergent property of an interactive brain-body-environment system. He has demonstrated success at effectively communicating complex ideas to audiences at all levels. He holds a B.S in Chemistry and Cognitive Science from Beloit College, a M.S in Cognitive Science from Indiana University, and has pursued doctoral studies in Cognitive Science at Indiana University.
