Brian A. Dahlberg currently serves as a Research Analyst at Cognitive Performance Group, specializing in performance modeling, usability design, and computational data analysis. He brings over 6 years of research experience in the field of cognitive science, including 4 years serving as an Associate Instructor at Indiana University. His academic research expertise is in studying behavior via computational modeling approaches, including recurrent neural networks, evolutionary algorithms, simulation modeling, and agent-based modeling. His approach blends quantitative methods with a keen eye toward theory, considering behavior as an emergent property of the interaction of agents and their environment. He has demonstrated success at effectively communicating complex ideas to audiences at all levels. He holds a B.S in Chemistry and Cognitive Science from Beloit College, a M.S in Cognitive Science from Indiana University, and has pursued doctoral studies in Cognitive Science at Indiana University.
