Robert McGee

Senior Learning & Development Consultant

Robert G. McGee is a Senior Learning and Development Specialist & Consultant at Cognitive Performance Group. He brings over 30 years of experience researching, designing, and applying practical solutions to the training and education field in multiple cultures, domains, and environments.  His research interests cover numerous disciplines that contribute to transformational learning experiences.  Those having a significant impact are human & organizational behavior and performance improvement, group dynamics, influence, mind & brain neuroscience, personality, emotional quotient (EQ), transformational learning, andragogy, and experiential learning environments.  He has applied his research to schoolhouse creation, a culture of practice, academic operations, and advanced instructional systems design of education and training interventions.  He has designed, developed, and refined original andragogical best practices in immersive, multi-cultural, multi-domain, experiential, learner-centric environments for the military and university.
He has also studied the Marine Corps' training and education system for gaps and shortfalls, military occupational field competency progression, recruit training, marksmanship training, and general-purpose military forces for special purpose advisor missions in contested environments.  He is currently earning his Doctorate as a student of Education in Organization and Leadership and International Multi-Cultural Education at the University of San Francisco (USF) and on track to graduate in the summer of 2021.  He holds a Master of Science in Education (M.S.Ed.), with specialization in Leadership and Management of Educational Systems and Human Resources and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Training and Education, Workforce Education and Development (WED) Major with specialization in Training Design and Implementation from Southern Illinois University Carbondale (SIUC).  He regularly consults school commanders and program managers in troubleshooting and improving school and program performance.  He is a retired Marine with over 32 years total service, 20 years active-duty Marine Corps.
